Can you tell me what it is you do?

We are a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic, which has a focus not only on women’s health and fertility, but general health and wellbeing. We have an emphasis on treating the whole person and use a combination of acupuncture, Chinese herbs, western supplements, cupping and massage. We take great pride in applying an integrative approach and consistent training in keeping the team up to date.

Do you accept private health?

We absolutely do. We can rebate for you on the spot; your rebate does depend on your level of cover and provider.

How many treatments will I need?

That is something your practitioner will discuss with you, as it is based on what is best for you, individually, but we generally recommend a commitment to three consecutive treatments.

Do I have to take herbs?

Every patient is different. We primarily use acupuncture however your practitioner will devise a treatment plan that suits your individual needs. Some people don’t always like the idea of herbal supplements – have you ever asked your mechanic to fix your car with only a spanner?

Because Tradition Chinese Medicine is tailored to you and your set of symptoms at each appointment your herbal prescription will always need to be assessed by one of our practitioners to determine if that prescription is still beneficial for you and your health goals or if it needs to be altered slightly. Like any medicine, herbal medicine needs to be treated seriously, its affects on the body change according to your current state of health and your environment. Its always very important to us that we are continually assessing you and making the appropriate changes to help you reach and maintain your wellness goals.

How does acupuncture work?

Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points on your body with acupuncture needles or pressure, which relives obstructions in the flow of energy, and enables the body to heal.

Which practitioner should I see?

We are so fortunate here at The Pagoda Tree to have a team of experienced and diverse practitioners who are all equally well versed. We have both male and female practitioners within the clinic that are constantly conversing as a team, and with Nat, to ensure that you get the best experience possible.
